Seven months of genocide war in Gaza: Shame on Arab rulers and the « democratic world » by Kamal Ben Younes.

Once again, the sessions of the « Cairo negotiations » failed… and did not result in any announcement of a ceasefire… Despite entering the seventh month of the genocidal war against the besieged Palestinian people in the occupied Gaza Strip… The committee of Palestinian national resistance movements headed to the Qatari capital Doha « for consultation »… After new statements accusing the leaders of the « resistance axis » of Netanyahu’s extremist government of « wasting time, » stubbornness, and maneuvering… And of refusing to stop the genocidal massacre of children, women, and innocent civilians… A massacre that continues for the seventh consecutive month, while the occupation authorities and Israeli media have repeatedly claimed to have received « green light » from Arab and international capitals to « settle the Palestinian issue » and the national resistance movements, especially Hamas, Jihad, the Popular Front, and the Lebanese Hezbollah and their allies in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Iran…++

The new round of « mediation » in Cairo failed, just as the talks in Paris and Doha were thwarted by the Israeli far right and its allies in America and Europe… After undermining all United Nations resolutions and other international and humanitarian organizations, including decisions by the International Court of Justice and the European Union… Why? The reasons are numerous… But it is time to call things by their name… The genocidal war could not have started or continued… Without the involvement of many leaders of « Western democratic countries » and leaders of some Arab and Muslim countries in the crime… It is true that many European capitals have changed their position, including Madrid, Dublin, Brussels, and Paris… And it is true that these capitals have pressed for an end to assassinations and abductions in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem… Including the assassinations and acts of torture involving « civilian settlers » after Netanyahu’s terrorist government distributed tens of thousands of firearms to them… And it is true that some Arab and Western governments have allowed the organization of popular demonstrations and « vigils » demanding an end to the genocidal war and aggression… After a period of « hesitation » and blind media bias in favor of the murderer against the victim… And of the executioner against the victim… And of the occupation authorities against the oppressed and occupied people… But persisting in the killing of tens of thousands of children and women and in starving millions of civilians is a wrong choice whose consequences will be very serious for all those who « play with fire »… Inside Western, Arab, and Muslim capitals… Including within some « Palestinian lobbies » in Ramallah that have obstructed the engagement of millions of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank in resistance… And in organizing massive popular marches in support of the resistance…++ How long will these assaults continue through bombs, missiles, and other firearms against a people who have seen 90% of their children displaced and the majority of their homes, hospitals, schools, and workplaces destroyed? Do the « Arab » leaders, the leaders of « Islamic » and « Western democratic » countries not feel ashamed despite the thousands of videos and journalistic reports depicting unprecedented brutality and very serious war crimes?++ In any case, all the weapons in the world cannot eliminate the ideas and national positions that peoples struggle for national, social, political liberation, and the right to dignity and development… And all Arab and global political parties complicit with the occupation authorities will pay a heavy price for their betrayal of their peoples and of the universal values and principles of human rights of the United Nations… The images of mass massacres and the reports on the results of the war will lead to an exacerbation of feelings of hatred, extremism, and resentment… Which means more violence and counter-violence… Shame on the world… And shame on the Arab rulers.
