Libyan Prime Minister Dbeibah’s Residence Targeted by Rocket Shelling

The residence of Libyan Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah has been targeted by rocket shelling, with no reported human casualties.

Reuters reported that two citizens stated they heard loud explosions near the sea in the Andalusia neighborhood, where Dbeibah’s residence is located.

Additionally, one citizen mentioned that security forces reinforced by vehicles were deployed in the area after the loud explosions were heard.

Earlier on Sunday, Libyan media reported that RPG rockets were fired at one of Abdelhamid Dbeibah’s residences in Tripoli.

They added that the rockets were launched from the sea at the house located in the Andalusia neighborhood in Tripoli, and that armed vehicles belonging to « Battalion 166 » were deployed in the area.
