The new “war of extermination” in occupied Palestine: security consequences… and very dangerous political and cultural consequences… by Kamal Ben Younes

When aircraft carriers, including an aircraft carrier prepared for nuclear wars and weapons of mass destruction, move towards the coast of occupied Palestine, not far from a “large prison” with an area of 300 square kilometers (about half the area of the island of Djerba), in which two million civilians are crowded, serious questions arise for all specialists in International affairs and geostrategic variables..

Does supporting the occupation army, which has possessed French, German, British and American weapons of mass destruction for decades, require “aircraft carriers” and visits from a number of the most prominent heads of state and government in Europe and America?

If the “security gaps” within the Israeli army institutions on October 7th are historic and require holding military and political officials accountable for them, starting with Prime Minister Netanyahu and his extremist ministers who describe Arabs and Palestinians as “animals” and “monsters,” then what is the justification for “militarizing the region” in an unjust way? unprecedented?

Aircraft carriers?

Do the occupying forces need “aircraft carriers” to kill more journalists, doctors, children, women, civilians, and United Nations employees, and bomb more hospitals, schools, churches, ambulances, and refugee camps?

of course not ..

Why all this mobilization, then, despite the “success” of the occupier’s security and army forces, according to international law, in destroying thousands of homes, shops, and service shops, and in bombing pedestrians and car riders as they moved day and night between the “north and south of the Gaza Strip” in implementation of the orders of the occupation army?

Is the goal really to “terrorize” the parties that support the Palestinian and Lebanese national resistance financially, militarily, or politically and in the media, starting with the Lebanese Hezbollah, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, partly Turkey, Qatar, Algeria, and civil society in Egypt, Jordan, and North Africa?

According to geo-strategic reports and articles in the American, European and Israeli press, it seems that the issue is much more serious… because the battle is not only over the territories occupied in 1967 in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Syrian Golan, Lebanon and Jordan…

American Elections

Many indicators confirm that the outgoing US President Biden and his team want to exploit the current war to try to gain the support of the arms, financial, media and Zionist lobby in America and abroad to try to win the upcoming elections, especially after the security, moral and judicial files for his son and a number of those affiliated with him have accumulated, including the issue of heavy drugs and weapons. What his son was accused of.

But more importantly than this, it seems that some “lobbies” in NATO countries want to exploit the current war to try to materialize their new, old plan about “changing the map of the region” and “dividing more Arab, Asian and African countries” under many banners that have been raised since the launch of the Gulf and Afghanistan wars. And Libya and Syria more than thirty years ago, then in 2001 and 2003, and after the “2011 revolutions”?

Military success and political failure

But everyone knows that Washington and its allies won all those wars militarily…but the security, political, cultural and moral results were completely different from the goals announced by Bush Sr., Bush Jr., Tony Blair, then Biden and his team..

The governments of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein in Iraq, Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, and Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen fell, and the influence of Bashar al-Assad’s rule in Syria and Lebanon weakened. But Washington and NATO forces repeatedly fled the region, including from Afghanistan and Iraq.

These countries were handed over to political and military leaders who were always closer to the opponents of Washington and the West, including Tehran and the leaders of the “Palestinian and Lebanese resistance” and the “Arab nationalist, Islamic and patriotic” political parties and parties.

The revival of extremism and radical movements

Indeed, in some countries, due to the mistakes of the forces of some Western countries, NATO, and its politicians, cultural, media, and cognitive setbacks occurred, and extremism, fanaticism, and the ideology of “radical groups” flourished. On the popular level, the influence of “modernist” civil society and supporters of the “rational movement” declined in favor of Salafist thought and traditional religious discourse…at the same time that the drug trade and smuggling gangs of manufactured materials revived in China, India, and Asian countries, which for decades entered into a race against the industries in the countries. Europe, America and Japan..

What is the way out of this dilemma then?

Geostrategic studies, which abound in official American, European, and global studies institutions, confirm that the world is truly in need of a new international system and regional systems.

But changes cannot be imposed on the map of the world in general and the map of the Arab-Islamic world in particular simply by accumulating more weapons and aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean and the Gulf or in the China Sea and the Central Asian region.

Military and security solutions may succeed temporarily.

But its outcome may be adverse and very dangerous… if the deep causes of tensions and wars in the world and in the region are not resolved based on United Nations resolutions, which consider all the lands occupied by Tel Aviv in the 1967 war to be “occupied lands”, including the city of Jerusalem and the entire West Bank. The West Bank, the Palestinian Gaza Strip, the Syrian Golan, and the rest of the occupied territories in Jordan and Lebanon.

Will the floor be given to politicians and wise men before it is too late, or will the logic of exclusion, counter-exclusion, and extremist politicians who do not hesitate to describe hundreds of millions of Arabs and 12 million Palestinians in 2023 as “human animals” win?
