Egypt: Positive signs regarding extending the truce in the Gaza Strip

Egypt announced on Saturday that it had received positive signals from all concerned parties regarding extending the truce in the Gaza Strip between the resistance and the Israeli occupation.

The head of the State Information Service, Diaa Rashwan, said in a statement, “Egypt is holding intensive talks with all parties to reach an agreement to extend the truce between the Israeli and Palestinian sides for an additional day or two.”

He added that the extension also aims to “release more detainees in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.”

Today, Saturday, the second batch of the exchange deal is expected to be implemented, according to which 39 female prisoners and captive children will be released, in exchange for 13 Israelis held by Al-Qassam.
