A member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement, Major General Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, considered that the demands, conditions, arrangements or proposals being raised by Israel and America about the future of Gaza, after the genocidal war taking place now, will not deviate from the circle of illusion or the wishes of the helpless for the best conditions.
He stressed in a statement to Maghrib News from his office in Ramallah in the West Bank, “The leaks circulated by the Israeli media and some Western media about the situation in Gaza, after the end of the aggression, are targeted leaks. You will find a thousand and one reasons to abort them, before you take a single step, on the ground.” .
The future of the Palestinian people
He added, “There is no force on the face of the earth that can interfere in shaping the future of the Palestinian people, regardless of the collective, national, and independent Palestinian will, and any suspicious consistency with those proposals, which attempt to circumvent the steadfastness and heroism of the Palestinian people, or detail an international, hybrid, or international administration.” A humiliated subservient, the Palestinian people will immediately slap her, in a way that expresses their violence and suffering.”

The new French position
Al-Tirawi appreciated the previous statements issued by UN, Western and Arab officials, the most recent of which was announced by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that Israel does not have the right to decide who will rule Gaza in the future, and that Gaza must be part of the future Palestinian state.
He concluded by saying, “The world is required to seize the opportunity now, to open a political path that begins with stopping the barbaric aggression against Gaza, ending the occupation and stopping settlement in the West Bank, respecting the religious sanctities in occupied Jerusalem, lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip and rebuilding it, and releasing the prisoners, as the only way to achieve Security and stability in the region.”
