SYDNEY- Algerian judoka Houd Zourdani (-66 kg) won the silver medal at the Oceania Judo Open, currently underway in Sydney (Australia), after being defeated in the final by British Nathan Burns.
Exempted from the first round, the Algerian needed only to win two matches to finish top of the group “A” and qualify for the semifinals.
Zourdani admitted defeat through a penalty in front of the British Nathan Burns.
